FAQ
General FAQs
Are you 100% vegan?
We are happy to carry plenty of vegan-certified products and all of our products are vegan ON PURPOSE - not on accident. You will see that many of our products are labeled vegan on the packaging by the manufacturer, even if they have not achieved certification for their product. If "vegan" is not displayed on the packaging, the products we carry are always acknowledged as vegan by the manufacturer, either on their website, or by contacting them. However, it is important to note that some products we carry may be produced using shared equipment of common allergens. Please use your normal discretion you would use grocery shopping day-to-day when you select your items if you have serious allergies as some products may be made on shared equipment with your allergies. As a vegan of 13+ years, I have been designated as the pro label reader of our household and I would absolutely never sell anything that I am not sure about eating myself. Rest assured, I also know everything that there is to know about what constitutes a vegan ingredient and what doesn't - you will not find cochineal, gelatin, or any other nasty animal-derived ingredients in our products. Remember, the products at our marketplace are vegan ON PURPOSE, not on accident. That being said, we know from personal experience not to trust anyone else when it comes to OUR food, so we strongly suggest that you personally review the product ingredient lists available on every product page yourself (it never hurts to double check!).
Legal statement: The Vegan High Street offers vegan products, but we cannot guarantee that customers with food and or beverage allergies may not be exposed through shared processing facilities/cross contamination. If you are concerned about your allergy, we would rather you be safe than sorry and not take any risks with products that are made on shared equipment. As such please understand that The Vegan High Street cannot be held responsible for any injury, loss, or damage claimed by any customer with an allergy regardless of circumstances.
Shipping FAQs
What shipping method do you use?
We use USPS Priority Mail shipping which is tracked and typically arrives within five business days. Please allow a week for processing before shipping.
Returns/Exchanges/Refunds
Please understand that due to restricted operations as a small business as well as food safety purposes, we cannot issue any refunds on any purchases. We also cannot accept any returns or exchanges once orders leave our facility. We apologize for any inconvenience.
Delivery Issues
If your package is damaged in transit and qualifies as mishandling by the US Postal Service, or is lost, please contact us. If your order has been returned to us due to an incorrect or undeliverable address, we will re-ship if you will cover the cost. It is important to note that, when it comes to products ordered, we unfortunately cannot control the conditions that your package is subjected to on its journey to your door and thus will not be held responsible for possible, but unfortunate circumstances such as melted/sticking candy or banged up product packaging. We can only assist with abnormal damage from serious US Postal Service mishandling that would lead to a severely damaged box resulting in destroyed and/or missing items. We purposely choose the best and quickest shipping option to try to reduce risks as much as possible, but please consider that temperature is always a factor when it comes to shipping food across the country. Please review our refund policy and understand that your purchase comes at your own risk.
